Last Day to Register for T-shirt
The last day to register for the 'with T-shirt' option will be Tuesday, November 22. This early closing of the shirt option is due to having to order t-shirts earlier because of the holidays.
The Tims Ford Deer Trail run is part of the Tennessee State Park Running tour. This is the 38th year of the State Parks Running Tour, the longest state parks running series in the U.S. It consists of 21 road races, two of which are on trails with distances varying from 5 to 13 miles. All races are held on Saturdays from October to March at 11 AM local time in 21 different State Parks, located from Memphis to Kingsport.
These events are sponsored by local running clubs, which are responsible for registration, timing and results. The State Parks provide facilities, race security and traffic control. Walkers are welcome.
The race start and registration sign in takes place at the Recreation Hall near the back of the park
Entry fee for the race is $8.
If you wish to order a race t-shirt (long sleeve), the entry fee will be $20.
We have a Grand Prix points system, where accumulated points determine the new male and female Running Tour Champion in each of six age categories: youth, open, masters, grandmasters, senior grandmasters, and seventy plus. Everyone who participates in 5 races or more will receive a special award at the Grand Prix Awards Banquet on March 4, 2017. In addition, those who run 10 or more races will receive an extra award.
